Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are proud to announce the Eight Iberian Robotics Conference, to be held at the School of Engineering of the Porto Polytechnic, from November 12 to 14, 2025. This conference is a platform for researchers and professionals to share ideas and advancements in several robotic areas. We invite authors to submit original contributions across all robotics domains, covering industrial robots, autonomous systems, educational robotics, and field and service robots. The conference will address modeling and simulation techniques, design methodologies, and practical applications of developed robotic systems. Additionally, we welcome submissions on AI techniques, computer vision and image processing, tactile and haptic devices, control algorithms and architectures, localization, mapping, navigation, and associated economic, ethical, legal, and social considerations. Moreover, the exploration of human-robot interaction, which encompasses personal and social robots, medical robots, and exoskeletons, representing an increasingly active and crucial area are also welcomed.<\/p>\n

Paper publication<\/strong><\/p>\n

Papers submitted for review that fall into the category of review papers will not be considered during the evaluation process<\/strong>, ensuring that the assessment is focused on original research contributions.<\/p>\n

Reviewing for ROBOT 2025 will be double blind so authors must remove their names from the submitted papers and should take reasonable care not to indirectly disclose their identity.<\/p>\n

Final accepted papers will be limited to 14 pages<\/strong> and must follow the Springer AISC template. An extension up to four extra pages<\/strong> is allowed at extra charge 50 EUR\/page.<\/p>\n

and following the same paper preparation instructions as with the initial submission. Make sure to have the latest templates and do not change the formatting in any way.<\/p>\n

No-show policy<\/strong>
\nAt least one author for each accepted paper is expected to be registered prior to a camera ready submission and present the paper at the conference. No-shows will not be included in the final proceedings.<\/p>\n
